No.. The gay thing is good. A pro gay candidate would get the vote from all the ultra liberals would would have likely voted for Latoya because they are so "woke".. But they have a chance to vote for a black gay woman.. That's even more woke.
Latoya's voting numbers really are not that strong. She won the primary with only 39%, Then runoffs are tricky,. A lot less people vote in runoff elections. This woman seems like he hustles.
This lady will likely get a lot of support unless someone from a well connected family runs, but its not like all black people like Latoya. If you can have one candidate that gets a little support from all groups.. She has a pretty good chance.

You’ve clearly never dealt with S&WB.
True story: when I used to bid work in New Orleans, we would make architects include S&WB fees as a specified allowance in the bid documents. It was common to have one contractor call for a fee quote and be told $500, and another call and be told $5,000.
