Is it? Do you have any evidence to counter my argument?

You don't really deserve it when you say things like this.

this ain’t ancient Persia, they ain’t military experts over there

Even Persia relied on outdated equipment (relative to the Greeks) and a highly sophisticated and robust logistics infrastructure.

But, many units of the so-called "Immortals" went into battle against nigh invulnerable Greek hoplites (who did not fight stripped to the waist, as the film 300 would have you believe - they wore a bronze breast plate and carried that huge aspis - a bronze clad, heavy oaken shield), with ceremonial armor and weapons. Like made out of wicker and balsa wood.

It's no wonder they got their asses killed by the bushel.

I don’t even think China or Russian could come close. Old equipment. The American military has been fighting nonstop since 9/11. Our folks have the experience.

Now some Euro countries and Australia could likely hang but we’re allies so not happening.

Our fighter pilots have not done any fighting. They’ve been flying racetracks over low to non existent threat environments providing CAS with all the life support and logistics that anyone can ask for. If anything our aviation force’s experience over the last 20 years is a net negative when it comes to a near peer foe. It simply doesn’t translate. Like, at all.

As opposed to who? Which country, currently, has more experienced pilots in live air-to-air or air-to-ground combat?

Seriously one of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten to do was get very close to a slew of these on the assembly line at Lockheed when I was a kid.

Increbile technology.

No country has experience in live air to air combat. Including the United States.

Challenge accepted

There’s a great story of an F-22 encountering an Iranian F-4 trying to intercept a US Drone flying over the Persian gulf. The Raptor snuck up on him underneath and suddenly appeared on his wing and told him to go home. The F4 pilot complied.

Of course, once they got those pallets of cash ($150 billion), they certainly could afford the paint job.

I never understood this one. The cardboard box was on thing but then they fabricated it so it can't even aim. It just shoots down at a shallow angle.
