Most cases reported this year have been among children aged 12 months and older who had not received the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine.
The World Health Organization issued a global warning on Tuesday pointing to "big gaps" in immunization programs putting more than half of the world's countries at high or very high risk of measles outbreaks by the end of the year.
Measles is a highly contagious, airborne virus that mostly affects children under the age of five. It can be prevented by two doses of vaccine and more than 50 million deaths have been averted since 2000, according to the WHO.

People have been questioning, and many avoiding, these vaccines for years. The shocking part is a lot of the ones that were the loudest about not vaccinating their kids because these kids have too many vaccines, and the vaccines are causing autism were also a lot of the ones demanding people to have their kids vaccinated for Covid.

Out of a very large family, I somehow missed out on my measles vaccine-this was many years ago.
I then had the measles as an adult.
It took weeks for me to recover my strength. I wouldn’t wish that on anybody.

I did but also we gotta stop letting the illegals in. That's the actual root cause of it. Antivaxxers have been around for awhile before these surges.

i don't think most people on the poliboard are against your typical measels/mumps/chickenpox vaccines.
it's the 20+ that are being rx'd now as opposed to our youth.
and the more likely answer is that when you import the third world, you get third world problems.
