A photo of a Jackson Police Department patrol car with all four wheels missing was posted on Facebook over the weekend

Michelle Lodree, the owner of Big Mama's Bail Bonding, said an officer at the Jackson Police Training Academy sent the photo to her. JPD spokesman Sgt. Roderick Holmes confirmed that a report about the theft was generated on Sunday. Holmes said it is not clear exactly when the theft happened. The training academy is located on St. Charles Street.

Lodree said in a phone interview Monday that she thought the photo of the rimless police cruiser was funny so she posted the picture on her Facebook page.

However, what Lodree does not think is funny is the number of officers that are employed by JPD. Chief James Davis told the City Council at a budget hearing in August the department is understaffed and overworked. The department — budgeted for 418 employees — was short almost 100 employees at the time.

How defeating - I've witnessed this in real life at least 3 times.

Lived in a upper tier apartment complex in DFW years ago, security gates and all. Big Swole Guy had a jeep with big arse tires and rims. one morning on my way to work I drive by and his shite is on blocks at 6 am. I felt terrible for the guy, what a way to wake up

Also a brand new Silverado one morning

Another was a dealership got hit and they left about 20 cars/trucks on blocks

Those brake rotors look rough also. I think that car hasn't moved in a while.

Jackson, MS is still pursuing shitholeness at a fast pace, but I think this is misleading.

I don't know about as soon as 10 years but anyone who doesn't think its coming is naive.
