The bad thing is the drunk guy in a stolen car responded to the domestic incident faster than the actual cops

No one was hurt and he was trying to help… I would consider his few hours of patrolling his community service

Now that’s a badass story to tell your buddies in the future.

Hey buddy, tell the story about the night you drink such and such and stole a police car and responded to dispatched calls.

the real story is that the cops actually showed up when called

He should have shot a dog. Then they would have thought he was a real cop.

Follow up article will read, “Jeremiah James Taylor, the 33 year Colorado man who stole a police car on Monday and responded to a 911 call, showed up to the Police Station on Friday, again intoxicated, asking ‘where is my fricking paycheck?’”

Minus the foot chase and the knife, this would have been a hilarious story.

Sending drunk people to hostile domestic disturbances so that both participants stop and find common ground long enough to go "wait WTF" is brilliant community policing
