Anyone here taken it and have any stories/advice or wanna tell me how fricked I am? I'm currently in that class. The first test is tuesday. I feel like i'm understanding the material pretty decently but I made a 50 and a 60 on the first two quizzes because my teacher doesn't give partial credit.

the class is thermodynamics

You fricked.

Who is your teacher? If Gonthier, just drop it and wait for devireddy or Doc C

Literally know how to do every practice problem in the back of the chapters covered. I'm not joking, that's what it took and I got a B (which I had the highest grade in the class before the final at least). If it's Gonthier, his tests are hard, but he is the best teacher I've ever had.

ETA: When I say know how to do, I don't mean memorize how to answer specific questions. You need to have a full understanding of all steps to solve. The questions will be very similar to homework, but they usually throw a curveball, so it won't be exactly the same. If you understand, you should be fine. If you just regurgitate a solutions manual, you will suffer.

Here's your next step, life generally doesn't give "partial credit" but Interior Decorators do.

This it thermodynamics taught by a guy named Shengmin Guo. I think it's his first semester teaching it. Thermodynamics makes statics and circuits look like phonics.

You're thinking about a class on a Friday night? Get the solutions manual.

I've never understood struggling to pass a class. But it seems a significant amount of people at lsu fail classes
