Let's load everybody that has a mental illness up on psychedelics. What could go wrong?

Yea because that's exactly how it works.

There's a massive difference between taking LSD and MDMA for recreational purposes vs administration in a clinical setting. It's actually used as a tool that accompanies therapy sessions, not just a "get high at home and call me in the morning" type of thing.

Did a lot of window-pane in the early 1980's. Don't know if it changed the game but it was damned fun. Actually made a little and sold it...basically a mix of rat poison and speed. Of course the man would have squashed that entrepreneurial spirit in a heartbeat if he had found me out...damn the man

It has a negative connotation from all the 50+ crowd that were part of the Carter anti drug campaign saying psychedelics will kill you.

There’s a really good documentary on Netflix that goes into the origin of psychedelics, and they were all made for medicinal purposes in the beginning. They’ve been using it for thousands of years.

People automatically think when you say you’re using it for medicine that you’re just popping mushrooms and dancing. This is all in a controlled setting and very small doses with therapy

There’s enough anecdotal evidence to at least support further testing. Big pharma not gonna like this.

Good point. That’s the big thing is big Pharma sponsoring anti-psychedelic campaigns.

Think of all the money they could lose with all the lifelong SSRI takers

Will the MSM bash this alternative use for MDMA like Ivermectin?

I firmly believe the ketamine treatments I received was part of the reason I am not nearing death right now.

I doubt there's much pure MDMA out there. It seems to be highly cut with primarily meth

From what I understand they are microdosing it to make the hallucinogenic effects minimal. However, I have heard some veterans say the hallucinogenic effects actually helped them, so I dunno.

TBH same. I get a ketamine infusion about every couple of weeks.
