that corner/area pretty shady as frick, not that it has any relevance to this incident though.

he also had no business getting out of his car, if joe never gets out of his car, he never gets shot. How does everybody miss this, if you get out of your car, you're telling the other person you're ready for a fight of some sort. If joe drove away, this would've never happened. There is no defending either man's actions, but gasser has a right to protect himself if he felt threatened. The cops agreed with whatever he told them and he's now free. Joe made a mistake and it cost him his life.

Slackster, let me guess, you voted bernie or hillary, there is no way on earth you didnt, right?
Reluctantly voted for Trump, but I don't see how that is relevant.

nobody deserves to die but wtf is one to do if someone wants to fight you and harm you. Again there is no time for 911 and waiting for the cops to sort it out. Gasser has a right to go home to his family too and he defended himself.
Maybe he defended himself. Maybe they got out to argue, and Gasser having a gun on him may have given him a tad too much confidence. We'll know more soon, but you've put in a lot of time blaming McKnight, and doing so almost solely on the back of his race.

That is for the race baiters like yourself. The rest of us actually want a functioning justice system.

no im doing so bc whether he was first or second he got out of his car. If he was first, then gasser defended himself. If he was second then he was idiot and should have driven away. Did your mom ever tell you two wrongs dont make a right?

Not sure how useful that video will be zooming after the fact. I don't see why a business camera would be focused on the intersection from jump street.

I haven't been in the middle of the back and forth, but you've found every way possible to defend Gasser. You don't even act like it's plausible that this guy was just a POS that murdered McKnight out of anger.

yes id love more on how a 150 lb man pulled this nfl running back out of a car, that sounds like the most plausible story.
You're consistently making shite up. What proof do you have of Ronald Gasser's height/weight?
McKnight at the draft was 5'11", 198 pounds. He's not some monster of a man.
Exactly, just cause he played in the NFL doesnt mean he's a giant. Im white and Im inclined to tak McKnight's side on this. Even with all the crazy hypotheticals on here. No one has given a reason he should have been shot. There needs to be some serious evidence for that guy to walk. Even if Joe was being threatening that doesn't justify shooting him if there was any way out. Sounds like there were people there so there was a way out.

well the cops sure didn't think that either

Yeah that is odd, they didn't even keep him 24 hours.
He wasn't charged so there was no bail. Sounds like he was never booked. If he wasn't booked that would mean charges aren't likely. If charges were likely they would have held him as long as possible.
This is odd, The JPSO needs to release more info.

As part of defendants’ speedy trial rights, Article 701 of Louisiana’s criminal procedure code spells out how long an arrested person can spend in jail without actually being charged with a crime. The limits are: 45 days for a misdemeanor, 60 days for a felony and 120 days for any offense that would result in automatic life in prison or death, which under Louisiana law is reserved for murder and aggravated rape.
After those time limits, an accused person is supposed to be released without bail to await the results of his case from outside a jail cell, unless prosecutors can show “just cause” for the delay.

So if he was first, Gasser was smart for defending himself. If he was second, then McKnight was an idiot for getting out, presumably to defend himself as well?
Surely you can see how racist you are, no?

This is likely not the case.
He was released and as someone stated before the police has surveillance footage of what happened.

The NAACP press conference is late. Who saw that coming?
Posted on 12/2/16 at 12:05 pm to Scoop
Probably waiting to see what Normand says first

The sports radio station made it sound as if the cops caught the guy with his gun in hand.
And the cops release him?
What's the real story
