I’m shocked that this is allowed to exist. I understand that people give consent and sign waivers but the acts involved sound like they are illegal. This guy’s just a sick freak who found a way to fulfill his sick desires to torture people without being locked up for it.

I watched some video with a woman who tried it. It doesn’t look like a “haunted house.” It looks like a disgusting fetish porn without using genitalia.

I don’t think it’s operating at the moment.
I know they stopped doing the one at his home in San Diego and were planning on opening two in other parts of the country but don’t think that happened.

My wife and I watched something on Netflix last night about people with haunted houses and this guy and Mckamey Manor were on there, but it was when he was still in San Diego before moving to TN. His wife is a paralegal at a law firm (or was in CA), that's where they got the super tight waiver. Found it funny that he gets scared shitless himself at haunted houses and would never do his own

It is. In the Netflix show, they show people watching videos of themselves going through it after the fact. You can see some of them getting off at watching themselves being tortured

i was obsessed with this place for a while and read a ton about it. it's awful, don't get me wrong, but you're not pulling out teeth
you'll come out with cuts, bruises, black eye, etc, they make you eat dog food and other vile shite, humiliate you, put insects and spiders on you, waterboards you. cameras are all over the place covering every inch and they said Russ has an obsession with the voyeuristic aspect of it. he'll spend days in the editing room. some rumors say that he does a feed for people in vegas where they bet on how long contestants will make it, but i think thats just something they made up to explain how he does this with no direct income. guy just has a fetish for humiliating and torturing.
the whole 20k deal must be their new marketing gimmick. there was never a specified end time or end point, it's over when Russ says it's over. even if you ask to leave, Russ doesn't let you go until he thinks they've truly broken you
