It's challenging. Russ McKamey is a retired PsyOps guy with the US Navy . I met a guy in Nashville who was a former Green Beret and made it 8.5 hours before tapping out....well he didn't tap out insofar as he sent 3 of McKamey's guys to the hospital by touching them which is a no no, they could touch you, you could not touch them.....it was in the waiver. McKamey is scared of this guy and he has just changed the experience to a no touching .....it's called Desolation

Yeah I agree this guy is just living out a sick fantasy of torturing people legally. Watched a short portion of a video on the site. That was messed up.

This guy probably pulls his pud while he edits the videos.

I mean, I guess it's good he isn't out murdering people, but this does seem very disturbing.

The guy definitely has a serial killer mind.

that's the first step, psyching an applicant out by just reading the waiver form

Taken from their website FAQ:
quote:

Q: Will the actors touch us, or can we touch the actors? A: YES, the actors will come into contact with you, but you CANNOT touch the actors or props

Sorry but if they can touch you, you should be allowed to touch them back. They try to pry your fingernails off or give you a black eye you should be able to beat the shite out of them.

I always through a big part of haunted houses is that the actors aren't allowed to touch the guests.

No...... 3 in the afternoon to sometime right after Sun up. He claims no on has made it to the end. A few former Special Forces guys have made it 8-10 hours and one went beyond but right towards the end at about 12, he had enough and almost killed one of McKamey's "volunteers"

I wonder if part of the reason why people tap out is because at a certain point they feel the bullshite isn't worth 20 grand.

I mean, if you made the prize a cool million, would some of these contestants be more apt to push through?

What I find amusing is that Summertown used to be known for The Farm, which is a hippie commune based on nonviolence that also has a large midwive program. Now Summertown is known for the Manor, which is the opposite of nonviolent.

Dude has a few screws loose, for sure, but he seems to be getting his jollies legally, so whatever floats your boat, I guess.

never heard about this until this thread but psych torture is worse than physical sometimes, knew of a guy that went to SERE school that was caught almost immediately, within a couple of hours they had him over a loud speaker confessing to killing women and children and imploring the rest of his comrades to come in and surrender
