She may be completely right but not for the reasons she thinks.
I think people are learning how you can become Detroit in short order through shitty leadership and high crime. Not that NOLA was paradise before this but it was still a tourist haven before they let crime out of certain areas of town.

The news started last night with "breaking news" of a shooting of 3 people and continued for nearly 10 minutes with various shootings. The last screenshot was basically an "other" detailing shootings on a map at 6 different locations in the city. And she is proud of what is going on in the city?
