New Orleans isn’t New York or LA. It’s not Atlanta or Chicago. It’s not even Phoenix or Austin. It’s not even Fresno or Burlington.
New Orleans is a city nobody would remember if it wasn’t for Katrina.
It is an American Port Au Prince. And if it weren’t for some sugary cheesy alcoholic drinks and a famous trumpet player it would be of no significance to the country that even hosts this city.
