If the flight was booked last minute the economy ticket could have been $1500. Upgrading to first class at that point cost only cost $130 more at that point.

I fly about the same on United (granted not LA) and have seen economy sold out with first available but as others have said, it aint going for a $130 "upgrade". Thats the bullshite.

To be fair I see a first class upgrade for my flight next week from Chicago to Cleveland for $134. But that’s also a short flight into a small city.
The flight back to Chicago, first class upgrade is $330.

Making her hold a presser to address questions about the France trip on TV. Then the Korea trip, now the LA trip.
All this waste of effort, time, money and energy and folks still couldn't get her recalled.
