Are there any laws today that specifically discriminate against black people?
All laws.

Whites should suffer vengeance for past actions.

You can't make this shite up. Thanks for the link.

I believe that's from her transition team's report on racial relations.

If you look at the attitudes of those that surround her, you can clearly see that vengeance is the highest priority.

Economics, yes.

That has nothing to do with your mayor running off taxpayers and job producers

To be fair to the King guy, he has to look out for LSU best interest. He knows if St.George succeeds, many parts of BR could go to hell in a hand basket. Which would be the last thing he needs. If it gets near LSU, he knows the trouble that University and University Police as well as students will face.

I can't fault him. He can't just pick up the school and it's students and move.

Same for certain posters on this board. Vengeance is the priority.

It isn't healing. It isn't striving to improve the community. It is vengeance and punishment.

I feel like the fastest way to make St. George happen is to have F. King working on the other side to prevent it.

A St. George spokesman did not respond to requests for comment Wednesday. But the group's Facebook page continues to be active, most recently questioning Broome's choice of a chief administrative officer and previously bashing Broome's transition report on race relations.

This is quite literally none of his business. Fighting against half the population, especially the population that contributes the most to his school, is completely against his interest but he is so enthralled with the SJW movement that he can't resist getting in the mix.

Well then maybe he should try to convince her to lay off the race baiting, because she's sure as hell not helping her cause by pushing a black first agenda.

They want to improve their community at the cost of another community. They feel that they need to rob SBR to rebuild NBR and they think God is on their side.

It would be hard to since the mayor of Jackson died and the previous mayor of Detroit is serving hard time, making both unavailable.

A new, already divisive bill would require that if the incorporation of St. George should come up again, everyone in East Baton Rouge Parish will get to vote, not just the people in the proposed city.

State Rep. Ted James (D-Baton Rouge) said his proposal lets everyone affected by the incorporation weigh in,

Rep. James is trying to block the St. George movement by letting NBR screw the vote up.

Is this nation as we currently stand, sadly building upon some racist laws, economics and policies (see, e.g. Affirmative Action)?

I'll hang up and listen.

He's trying to block SG by creating STATE laws.

The real fight, unfortunately, is more in the LA state legislature and not in the BR metro council.

If he can convince enough legislators from all around the state to vote against SG, then the SG petition doesn't mean shite.
