100% chance this will be the most corrupt administration Baton Rouge has ever seen. BR will be Jackson, MS in a few years.

Voting in unison is not good for anyone. Try thinking as an individual and what is best, not just going along with the crowd.

Yeah at least Kip Holden didn't hire a bunch of dumb asses. But then again, the SJW's didn't like Kip because he wasn't "unapologetically black."

some of the comments on Gary's post regarding this hire are hilarious.

one says something along the lines of "it doesn't matter why he was fired. all that matters is he is qualified for the job... simple."

This dude was fired after five months on one job and after one month on another. Are you kidding me??? Nice earring too.

"When I agreed to take this position with the mayor, my agreement was, 'I am here as long as you want me to be,'" he said.

I think I would say the same thing if I had been canned from two jobs after a month and after five months. Don't worry, she's going to want you there as long as you want to be there even if you're not doing your job.

i think he has 4 degrees from Miami after spending 13 years there as a student

It also looks like he studied Public Policy at USC only a year after earning his PhD in, you guessed it, Public Policy.

The person that wrote his qualification summary is definitely not the person that put together that shite show of a LinkedIn profile.

How in the frick can this be the most qualified candidate?

How in the frick can anyone agree and support this decision by suggesting he is qualified?

How in the frick can Rolfe McCollister be supportive of this?

If this guy were white, would he have even made the first screen of resumes?

I wouldn't hire this guy and I guarantee he'll be making much more than the employees that I hire make. Whenever you have jobs that you lose that quickly, it's a major red flag.

And those multiple arrest charges might have been dropped due to working some kind of program, but impersonating an officer, unlawful use of a police badge and battery of a law enforcement officer should have been extremely concerning charges no matter how long ago that was.

I have been wondering the same thing. How is turning Baton Rouge into Jackson, MS good for business?

Cool mayor! Its so funny seeing people on here rip on California while you have the officials you do. Don't get me wrong, I know the politicians in Cali are all socialist trash but I would still probably take my chances with their leadership.

Yeah. It says he graduated high school with a concentration in engineering and physics. He had a major in high school?

After reading that article I am both not shocked, and appalled at the fact that this arse clown was chosen over 150 other applicants.

My god, what is happening to this city

Well of you morons would take care of business and elect capable leaders, then this wouldn't happen, would it?

Baton Rouge is quickly becoming New Orleans west.
