People riot or just accept it because what's one more month when you've already done two?

I won’t riot, but I’ll continue to do what I want. Right now I’m on vacation in the Utah mountains (I live in NOLA).

It took a month to ramp up, it will take a month to ramp down.

If you want to keep New Orleans on lock down fine, but the rest of the state should end this 4/30.

Riot.

Another month past April is not happening. In 2-3 weeks people will just start going to work and resuming life. Governors and Mayors and Facebook Karens can whine, bitch, and moan all they want.

Riots might happen in areas where a large amount of people live paycheck to paycheck

Me? I'll disregard all emergency orders and happy to go to court down the road if needed

How are people going to go to work when the businesses they work at are closed?

Hope I’m wrong, but I predict the rest of the state is in for a rough patch these next two weeks, while the Greater NOLA area begins to see a downward trend in cases and deaths. NOLA area was hit harder and earlier, and it seems like the rest of the state is playing catch-up.

ETA: Let the downvotes rain, that’s fine. I hope I’m wrong.

I hope so, but the governor is going to control when a lot of businesses can open.

People will accept it. It's coming too, the IHME models are the most optimistic and even they have full shutdowns through the end of May and the government implementing widespread testing and contract tracing as the only thing preventing a rebound.

Government stimulus kicks in this month through UI. I imagine workers will chill.

Small business will be the straw that breaks the beast of burden. They'll start to open and defy government to capitalize on stimulus money.

I think you’ll see law enforcement step up their active enforcement. There are more and more stories of this occurring. Politicians and law enforcement don’t like people flaunting disobedience to their authority.
