If these are your two truck options, just by a Subaru, a rainbow license plate frame, and some KD Lang tickets.

Ridgeline is so damn ugly, seems solidly built but there’s no way I could drive one

The newer ones are starting to look more like a truck.

I ordered a Maverick and waited 500+ days for delivery then traded it in after about 20,000 miles on a CPO Ridgeline. The Ridgeline beats the Maverick in every category. Sure I'd like a little more ground clearance on the Ridgeline, but I'm not willing to risk my 7 year/100,000 mile warranty for it.

They are not really in the same class, but I would go with the Ridgeline. Gives you a bit more room, better engine, more capability.

Those and the Hyundai thing, are modern El Camino's.

I don't think i could ever drive a small truck, but if I did, I'd go with the Ranger or Colorado over the Maverick and Ridgeline.

Man, the Ridgeline is an ideal size truck(ish) vehicle for my needs, but damn , that front-end is so ugly. The interior is very dated, but livable & I like the old-school VTEC engine. Please Honda, revise the exterior….especially the mini van front & you’ll have a buyer.

I mean it certainly looks better but it would kinda be like getting a Nissan Rogue instead of a “regular” SUV. They both scream soccer mom to me.

Those cost $5k+ more and rear seats aren’t as comfortable. What I’m getting for the extra money I don’t need.

Surprising actually, I figured it would have been reversed.

My FIL who owns an auto repair shop would be in this thread screaming to get the Honda fwiw. The Honda v6's will run forever.

I really like the Ridgeline. I'm in a Ranger now and I was torn between the two. Ford was offering some better incentives so I went with it. In 5-8 years when I start looking for a new vehicle I'll probably go with the Ridgeline.

My 2000 f250 7.3 had 875,000 miles and still runs great. I hope my 2023 6.7 last anywhere near that long.
And a Ridgeline is just a CRV with a bed.

I like the powertrain & could look past the interior, but don’t want to drive a minivan with a bed. I don’t care what you say.
