Yep it sure is. Basking sharks

Ok that makes sense because this was in Norway. Great Whites don't go around Norway, but Basking Sharks do

Plot twist. The shark was merely hanging out by the boat trying to get protection from the really big monster lurking underneath.

Wait! It didn't attack the boat, sink it and eat all of the passengers?

This has never happened to me but it did happen to a friend of mine. They were fishing in the Gulf for king mackerel right out of Destin and they spotted a basking shark about 5 miles out. They followed it and they casts to the side of the shark and crushed the cobia following the basking shark. Cobia is one of the best tasting fish.

She is always between South America and Hawaii.

Shark Week needs an hour on her alone.

No basking sharks in the Gulf. They like cold waters

Is that a Basking shark? If so, harmless.

Its a Basking which they have a lot of in Norway. There hasn't been any confirmed siting of Great Whites that far north and the only other shark that length in the area would be a Greenland Shark, but their dorsal is tiny in comparison.

That's one of the best videos I've seen. Camera is held steady and it slowly follows the animal. It's even shot landscape.
