Watch the video above. NOPD vehicle was blocking the street but the TPOS swerved around it onto the sidewalk and gunned it.

Yes, that’s the fail. Do you think a terrorist or someone with criminal intent is going to honor not driving on a sidewalk?

Homeland Security is another example of massive bureaucratic agency with many problems. If the attacker was an illegal, why isn't Homeland Security focusing on these illegal people intent on terror.

I wouldn’t say walls no. But I am kind of surprised that Nola doesn’t have bollards for their sidewalks during these types of events.

What would bollards have done? He drove in the sidewalk. In fact bollards would have given him even more room to get on the street because he wouldn’t have had to go between the police car and the building. He would have only been on part of the sidewalk and part of the street.

They do, but are in the process of being overhauled and updated for the Super Bowl, and many were not in place.

They knew the Sugar Bowl and New Years was coming Jan 1. Why not speed up the process 45 days to better deter this terrorist attack?

Fact is NOLA is an easy mark due to incompetence across the board as the FBI alluded.

Where is the flag that is shown in the still pics? I didn’t see it in the video.

Two cruiser? Bollards?
sure

Then the attack would’ve just been carried out in a different manner.

You aren’t aware bollards can be placed on sidewalks as well?

Tom Clancy kind of predicted 9-11 Tom Clancy also kind of predicted what an other mass attack might look like

He knew this stuff because he had met with FBI and national security experts

Watch the video. They don’t put bollards on the sidewalk. The police car is exactly where the bollards would be.

Yeah, maybe not in NOLA if it wasn’t considered an easy mark. You are aware the driver passed on Austin, San Antonio, and Houston (all larger cities) to target NOLA?

There was never any plans to put bollards on the sidewalks.

Bullards removable like in the quarter already but spaced approximate distances so a vehicle cannot pass. Very simple, 1 back hoe 3 baws few yards of concrete could have had this prevented in hours but your lazy dumb arse city can’t wipe its own arse it’s a horribly managed city and it’s beyond repair. Until you gut it but you need an influx of workers that actually WORK! not just collect a paycheck

how do you know it’s an easy mark? You have no idea. There could be many reasons NOLA was targeted.

Are there two Austin PD cars at the end of 6th street? Bollsrds? Sidewalks blocked? I haven’t been to Austin in years, but from what I remember - someone could easily drive down there, too

The street was blocked moron,

Blocked with what moron? Obviously not something that would keep a vehicle from driving through it.

Bollards on the sidewalk, genius.
