FWIW:
LV local TV reporter just reported that, according to her local LE source, that the shooter was in a suite and had 'more guns than any person should need, had thousands of rounds in many magazines, had two shooting platforms set up in the suite to utilize different angles, and had a camera system so they could see anyone approaching their room'.
Again, just hearsay from a local reporter's LE source at this...

Fox said perp had cameras set up facing the hotel room door, and he was dead when the cops kicked in the door. Hasn't been confirmed yet though. They just said they got a report of it

I read the incident was first reported at 10PM and LE finally got to the guy at 3:30AM, so that's 5 and a half hours. He could have been using anything.

Start a thread about if the gun used was a slap trigger, bump fed, push button, jerk stock, 8.09, 10.6 got damn!!!! It was some sort of rifle that had the capability of firing multiple shots.

Yeah, heard it could have been self inflicted. Also heard that dude set up cameras to look down the hallways outside his room...not sure if I heard that correctly though.

Dude was dead all along. It was a set up. The black ops agent left as LEO moved on his position. The Asian chick was originally planned to be a fall guy as well, as a secondary shooter, but she escaped. Tried to warn the concert goers, but the remaining black ops team had infiltrated the concert security team and apprehended her. She is now dead and gone. Which is why they were so quick to backtrack on her being a POI.
