Many on Reddit speculating it wasn't full auto, but sounded like a bump trigger.

I was thinking the echo made it sound off but the bump trigger/ stock sounds more right.

If it was her she wasn’t warning anybody. Reports say she was just randomly taunting concert goers telling them they were going to die.

This is exactly what the eyewitness told Sky News happened.

I don't know if it was a mystery before. The last time I was in Razorback Stadium you didn't even have to pass through a metal detector to get in. I'm honestly surprised a sporting event shooting hasn't taken place.

I am too, but moreso from the "wtf" stand point.

Either way, we'll probably never really know. He's dead.

The scariest part of this type of shooting is that it doesn't take a genius to pull off. Get a hotel room overlooking a busy event, bring a high powered semi auto rilfe, and kill many people. Scary stuff.

True but that was the wrong guy.

it doesn't matter if these guns are available or not. There will always be ways to create mass Carnage. Bombs, driving over people with trucks, etc.

This isn't a blueprint. It's been done already by the watchtower shooter. It's not a novel idea, anyone with sense knows that elevation with a gun over a crowd gives you an advantage. This is nothing new.

It's not a mystery, but bringing a gun into a stadium would be much tougher to pull off a shooting like this. This guy could just spray people from the comfort of his hotel room and had plenty of time to reload

It’s not the weapons but people have lost their damn minds. If this turns out to be some politically motivated dip shite I don’t even know what to say.

I can see hotels starting a new policy requiring x-ray machines and security checkpoints for their guests luggage after this.

Another day, some a-hole ruins it all for us and we lose more freedom.

Watchtower shooting =/= mass shooting from a hotel room overlooking a packed event.

I agree there is nothing to be done. I'm just commenting it's scary that the general public can buy high powered rifles whenever. And I say that as an owner of a few high powered rifles

So crazy.

You don't need much these days to inflict mass casualties.

And it's not like there weren't tons of cops around.

You kind of feel safe in those situations where you see a barage of cops.

Not anymore...

Given your stance, realize a shotgun would be worse. OO from high up would be a lot.

Or you could rent a box truck and drive through a crowd of people causing just as much damage.
