He sounded more nervous today, than he sounded in the 2 days after the shooting. When he should have been far more tired and stressed.
We are over a week in and he had to come out with no new information and clarify shite he had told incorrectly before due to other sources calling him out on it. I’d be nervous if I had nothing to show as well

This tells me the security guard is in on it or he is covering for something. You gonna lay there for over an hour listening to him kill people without trying to get help?? This does not compute.

Paddock shot Security guard BEFORE he started shooting at concert goers
indeed... soo they originally announced the security guard was a hero that stopped the shooting.
nowww...they're saying he was shot before the main shooting occurred.
this is not an oversight or even incompetence.
it was an absolute lie

I don’t think its necessarily lied to. I honestly think there’s just a huge cluster of agencies with no one in charge, and info is inaccurate. I mean, if they were lying, why stop now? This is humiliating.

Lol. Or the security guard didn't have a radio and was shot in the leg. So he didn't have a way to evacuate or communicate with the hotel.

Yeah, with the new timeline, I'd be pissed at Mandalay Bay now if I lost a loved one as it looks like they botched this. On edit, maybe baldona's explanation is acceptable.

so it also seems like the only thing that stopped the shooting was paddock being discovered & abruptly shooting himself
as opposed to what we were originally told: " no shooting was going on so we waited on SWAT"

I would have been crawling to rooms and beating on doors or trying to get to a fire alarm pull. If nothing else he would have been scared of the shooter coming out to finish the job.

You are in a long skinny hallway and dude just fired 20-100 rounds through the door at you. You are hit in the leg, no radio, and no gun. Sure you are now scared shitless, can't really walk, and feeling helpless.
Oh by the way it's 10pm in Vegas, no one is in their rooms.
I mean sure I agree it's somewhat absurd the hotel didn't find the shooter earlier, but it's also perfectly reasonable.

I think the guard was part of the FBI/CIA monitoring the operation.

Without a doubt though, the security guard's experience was straight up like a shitty Hollywood movie. Checking on a room like 5 rooms down, and get sprayed by 'automatic gunfire' down a long hallway with no radio. Crappy shituation. (Spelling intended)

For those who didn't see this earlier.
A reporter asked how many cellphones Paddock had, the sheriff looked at the FBI agent in the room for an answer, and the agent said "I don't think it's prudent we give out that information".
After the FBI agent said that, Lombardo replied to the reporter's question with the sentence, "I don't know how many devices he(paddock) had".
Strange as hell when combined with the initial report of there being a random charger in the room.

But what about after when they asked, "hey, was there shooting already going on when you arrived?"
It is a yes or no answer. Dont see any possible reason for a discrepancy.

no radio,
After today this obviously doesn't mean much. But last week they said Campos DID have a radio, and had used it to talk to the front desk.
Last week Lmbardo also said that he met the cops IMMEDIATELY after having been shot, and that Campos' actions are what stopped Paddock's killing spree.
Whole thing is weird as hell. I think conspiracy nuts are going way too far, but anyone that believes the information given out by the sheriff up to this point in time, hasn't gone far enough.

Is there a cliff post anywhere in this thread? I was out of town all weekend, and the last 5 pages or so is just Dan bilzerian debates. Tia

Is it confirmed he didn't have a radio?
What the hell is a security guard doing on a Las Vegas resort property without a radio, phone or at least a whistle? I mean what is the purpose of having one if he can't communicate? See something wrong, then take 10 minutes to go down to reception?
