If I understand the time line, there is now 5 or 6 minutes between the security guard encounter and the firing on the crowd.
Maybe he was just getting set up with the cameras and the security guard just happened to hit the 32nd floor by chance. He panics, shoots the guard, then has to break out the windows, set up the shooting platforms (flipped chairs? Never heard these explained), and stack/position mags & guns.
So everything is rushed now, shits not working like he planned with the fuel tanks etc., and he grows frustrated as I'm sure he played this out and calculated many times in his mind. Says frick it and blows the back of his head off.

Smelled two days after it happened and smells even more now, doesn't take a tin hat to know they are withholding information at the least and more than likely flat out being dishonest about certain items.

It certainly does! And I don’t believe that the security guard doesn’t have a radio or any communication device. What use are they if they don’t have that much? I’m not buying it.

I think the security guard was in on it. He manned one side and paddock manned the other. After 10 minutes, dude shoots himself in the leg after firing off 200 rounds at the door.
The only thing is they said he recorded himself. How the security guard isn't in the video may be a mystery. I thought the sheriff said there was a second shooter. So it could be paddock had the camera set up on him. The second shooter was not seen and exited the room after going through several rounds.

Quite an interesting theory. Not out of the realm of possibilities either. Them completely dropping the hero narrative leads me to believe he either go lucky and stumbled on it, or he was in on it.

ya, im assuming we have hotel security footage of "Campos being shot 6 minutes before ..." so now they have to come clean with this information.
since Campos is not out cashing in on his new-found fame, its safe to assume hes being held privately, maybe even as a suspect...?

1) Total incompetence by the LVMPD and FBI
OR
2) We are actively being lied to
I want to believe it's #1, but it's beginning to look more and more like it's #2.

If it was ISIS or a foreign terrorist, Trump would be shouting it from the rooftops even if it compromised the investigation.
If it were a domestic terrorist, the FBI folks that dislike Trump would've leaked it.
If it were a conspiracy involving our intelligence agencies, they would've forged a suicide note or something and confirmed that it was just a crazy old man that lost his shite.
