How would tracers inflict more damage? Only way I can think of is the jet fuel tanks?
He killed and maimed a lottttt. had THEY been able to see where the rounds were coming from they could have gotten under cover sooner, and in a better angle of defense in the hysteria and pandemonium. They were packed in like sardines. If they had been more of a dispersed crowd then I think it would have been an advantage to him perhaps.
And like the above quote, if they hadn't burned out by the time they hit those fuel pods I'm sure it wouldn't have decreased his chance at setting one off.
But all of that is like, my opinion, man.

Agree. Need to make sure we sticky the one inch rain storm, but not the deadliest shooting in American history with no known clear motive. Maybe the FBI got to Chicken's crew?

Yeah....because that YouTube video scientifically recreates gun sounds and echo in the midst of high rise hotels...by a random dude firing out in the desert.

It does Festus. You live in the dark. I feel bad for you.

I didn't see videos of any police carrying around sniper rifles to take him out.
They had AR-15s that would have easily done the job, they just weren’t willing to try to stop it

The police knew where he was very early on. They were told to stand down and wait on SWAT. He popped off rounds at police in the hallway and continued his shooting spree.
Early on? The whole shooting lasted 11 minutes, look at the published timeline.

A note found in the hotel room of the man who shot into a crowd from his perch in a Las Vegas high-rise included hand-written calculations about where he needed to aim to maximize his accuracy and kill as many people as possible.

"I could see on it he had written the distance, the elevation he was on, the drop of what his bullet was gonna be for the crowd," Newton said. "So he had that written down and figured out so he would know where to shoot to hit his targets from there."

Look nobody on this site is an expert on this subject. I’m trying to come in and provide new information which 200 pages asked for. I don’t claim to be a weapons expert, I’m an amateur weapons enthusiast.
Our fricktard proclaimed military experts have come up with absolutely nothing so shut your fricking pie holes. Anyone who debunks any theory is acting on pure conjecture. Take your arse back to the I shoot shite board.
Dan B. should have sniped the fricker with the Vegas police ssued semi automatic weapons shooting up at the 32nd floor. I have no idea why the police berated him and moved on. If only.

This thread represents the best and the worst of the OT. Unfortunately since it didn’t happen in LA it represents the worst IMO.

What is this about?

The application of an AR in that type of setting becomes limited. Shooting up at a window 32 floors up with no guarantee your target is just right there at the edge is a huge risk. The police did the best they could. Waiting on tac team to arrive was the best option at the time. Armchair QB it all you want.
Unlike shite head, the police have to account for every one of their rounds.

Dan Bilzarien, a vet who failed BUDS several times because of health issues, was at the concert. He supposedly attempted to convince an officer to give him an AR15 so he could return fire.
Which is beyond idiotic. Firing at the hotel room would have simply injured more people. The odds of hitting Paddock would have been extraordinarily low. Especially since he didnt have a spotter with a range finder, and had no idea just how high Paddock was.

That retard Dan Bilzerian was having himself filmed acting like he was trying to save the day. Asked the officer for a weapon so he could go kill the guy or something.

Dan would have saved lives... cops large egos wouldn't allow it though

Yep, shooting at a hotel full of people without precise knowledge of the shooter's location. What could possibly go wrong?

Dan's an idiot, but I presume he wanted to breach the room, not fire haphazardly at the building.

You know those stupid frick posts people keep talking about in this thread?

Yeah, give someone your gun and let them shoot at a hotel full of people. What could go wrong?
God, people will believe anything
