Having burned through most of his real estate money by that time he was no longer wealthy, and getting desperate.

Plus, you have 200+ rounds going through the door, barely any holes in the door, Jesus was only hit once after opening an open door, and the photographs that leaked showed no bullet holes of the 200+ hitting the wall behind the door. That would've been an easy picture to take

Did the sheriff confirm 200 shots at officers in the hotel? Were some police not shot on the street? I was thinking maybe that's when he shot 200 at police, on the street not in the hotel.

I don't think Jesus opened the door. Maybe he did, is that confirmed? I counted almost 20 bullet holes in the door and you can only see 1/3 to 1/2 of it and that's the lower door. I was assuming that Jesus knocked on the door or he saw him through the video camera, and shot at Jesus through the door. That's why he was shot in the leg. My guess was he knocked, surprised Paddock, and he fired from his hip or otherwise half heartedly in a hurry and his first couple of shots were low and thus the leg hit?

I'm pretty sure Paddock was dead by the time any police got to where they could see the room on the 32nd floor. That's why they didn't rush it faster and swept the other rooms.

FYI, it would be incredibly easy if there were no cameras on the hotel floor for Paddock to have an accomplis in another room down the hall like a normal patron. I'd assume the police are looking into that.

Well, the sheriff initially said Paddock fired 200 at Jesus. But then revised it the next day to say that Paddock fired those rounds at the officers who came down the hall right after Jesus was shot. They came onto the 32nd floor at the same time Jesus was trying to escape after being shot, and met him at the stairs.

He also said no officer fired at Paddock at any point, but on the radio recording you clearly hear the SWAT team lead say one officer did fire a round.

No comments on the note? I still don't understand why he'd have a camera inside facing himself, but not have it recording. All you have to do is turn it on and press record

Only comment on the note is that it was covered in numbers, and they were still trying to decipher what they mean.

Multiple guys interviewed on Fox, who are ex-cia and ex-fbi, have both said there was a recording and it does have the motive on it. Ex-FBI dude even said he personally knows guys who have seen it. Ex-cia guy just said he knows guys who know the content of the tape, but haven't seen it.

Not confirmed. They specifically did not mention that when telling about the cameras to clear up rumors. The Junior Sheriff said there were two in the hall and one inside, in the peephole.

Also, I have seen the press ask one time about the note. He said he didn't know and there have been no follow up questions about it.

Link? I’m glad someone is finally admitting that he left a video!

Sauces. Can't confirm because of reasons, but rest assured, we are blah blah blah....

I tried to read every page of thread and I made it to page 180. A few good posts but the overwhelming amount about this tragedy is pure fricking stupidity.

This is not something new to the Western world. The Austin tower shootings by Charles Whitman 51 years ago was a shock and the only reason he wasn't able to inflict more fatalities likely was due to the the firepower he had versus Paddock.

I am a handgun owner for protection of my home, shotgun and rifle owner for hunting.

The thing that disturbs me is the fact massacres such as this seem to be happening mostly in Western cultures.

Perhaps we don't have a gun regulation issue so much as gross negligence for mental issues and identifying them.

Screening for mental illness is difficult to impossible, a professional could determine if person shows signs of mental illness, but cannot determine if a person not showing signs of mental illness is in fact not mentally ill.

Lately there isn't a great track record of screening people for gun and bomb materials. Again going back to as early as the 1950's.

Second woman posing as Marilou was the one who broadcast it from the mystery phone i another room or location. That's why they initially walked back and said there were no recordings or broadcasts (presumably, they only knew to look in his devices at the time).

I also believe that we, simply in our day to day tone, often find ourselves in a society that is unnecessarily angry. About everything. A lot.

We live pretty good lives and have a lot to appreciate. And people are constantly freaked out about society going down the drain, who is out to get them, etc.... it's easy for someone to snap when we are constantly on tilt as a society.

Another picture of that second woman, with Marilou in the pic as well. Taken in the Philippines...The lady next to Paddock looking the other way while everyone smiles for the camera, and then Marilou in the middle
