Neither one of us knows for a fact that they're involved. What I am pointing out, is for you to "laugh" that anyone is even considering that ISIS may be involved (after they have publicly claimed it) shows ignorance and the way you try to come off as knowing much more than you do.
Say you don't think it, fine. But the arrogance of you laughing, and then stating that ISIS has a history of false claims of acceptance? That's what I'm trying to reveal.

For all we know, the FBI could be executing raids around the country....possibly throughout the world. They aren't going to give us any info about motives or accomplices until they are confident they have everyone involved in custody.

Yeah, the dude was buying guns, ammo, fertilizer, and tannerite like crazy over the last year, so at the least they've been investigating all that.
We have zero idea of how much digital info they've found. I bet it is a ton. Old people seem to think that deleting things actually removes them. We'll see.

Let's assume his goal was to open fire at a group of people and be able to maximize the number of casualties. He had to find a spot and an event that would allow him to shoot into a big crowd. I can't think of another spot on the strip, where he could have targeted an area that had thousands of people in one specific spot. He could have started shooting at people on the strip, but there would be so many places people could get out of the way of the line of fire.
Mandalay Bay is the perfect spot.. Because it has two buildings and all around both hotels there are events that go on. So it wasn't just something he put together.
If he was a "professional gambler" I am sure he was extremely familiar with LV so he probably knew that MB would be the place to pull this off. He then had to find the perfect event. This was something that went on all weekend right? He checked in on Thursday, I would be curious to know how far in advance he booked his hotel. That will probably give the investigators somewhat of an idea as to when he started to plan this.

Well considering the week before the Route 91 festival was another event at the same place and multiple vents before and after scheduled that wouldn't be the best place to start for a timeline.

The very next post, he's building a scenario of planning and motive, and giving the investigators some leads to pursue to determine motive.

He attempted to book the Ogden for the other music festival a few weeks ago but couldn't get the rooms he wanted. 45,000 people per day at that event.
