Might be irrelevant but there’s a coast guard plane that left from the airport about an hour ago followed the river and is basically flying over all the tributaries from the river

Coast Guard SAR aircraft have sophisticated thermal imaging sensors. If he's hiding in the woods by the river, he'll light up on their screens like a Christmas tree. Smart move in the search for this slime ball.

Given he disappeared immediately after the carnage, and ditched his car perhaps for a boat, it appears he has a plan that doesn't include being quickly killed by LEO authorities.

could be hold up in a cabin

What would be the best place to hide?

A small rural area, sparsely populated, low technology, and where neighbors are more likely to know each other.

or

A large city. Thousand of people running a rat race, staring at a device, navigating traffic and with little attention focused on those around them. Cameras are everywhere, but primarily for asset protection.

I, personally think that Fred and Ethel see activity near Old Jim's cabin and start nosing around, because Jim never comes on Thursdays. Every person you meet in a rural area is going to question you. I could be wrong.

Boston bombers were caught hiding in someone's boat with a cover on it.

True. They waiting a long time before approaching the boat not knowing if he was still alive. (he wasn't)
The older brother was killed in the shootout. The younger brother was caught in the boat and was alive, although with multiple gunshot wounds.

If he's in New Hampshire, Fred and Ethel probably have no idea what Jim drives let alone when he comes and goes.

He’s probably traveling by rail. A freight train can be a quick getaway to get 7 states over real quick.

I saw that one mentioned on Reddit. But someone said earlier that there is a dam. And there is right there in Lisbon. So the only route out of there would be north right thru the heart of Lewiston. Seems like that would raise some suspicion to be cruising thru on a boat at night right by the place you just shot up. Maybe it’s just a news helicopter reporting on a possible sighting of his car? Forgive me if that’s already been confirmed. Hard to keep up with actual details in this thread due to idiots.

If he had a surplus of fuel on the boat… he might be long gone

Is there a radio scanner feed? Is all of the activity on flight aware?

All depends on if I have people to protect. If I have a wife and kids, absolutely shelter in place. If it’s just me, probably not.
