I would suggest that most school shootings are students that are overwhelmed or stressed or otherwise contain some sort of hatred for something at the school. That would likely be more rare during the first week, as they had all summer to blow the steam off.
But you are certainly right there is no good time.

Why must we have these school shootings in America so often?
Its embarrassing to the world and makes it harder to defend the 2nd Amendment, which is so valuable to our freedoms.

Young lady just now on Fox called this her generation's 9/11.
We have got to do a better job of educating our youth in this country. Yes, this is tragic, but this is nowhere near the scale of 9/11.

No details about suspect in the X post except fled scene in car. This morning “contained” and in all black. With the apparent link to 2 Catholic schools, high school then pre-school/elementary. Consistent with a religious hate crime.very sad events, very troubling if information is known but being suppressed
