Equating people who point out the obvious in mass murders to actual mass murderers themselves. Nice
That's not at all dramatic or absurd. Are you also a "silence is literal violence" guy?

Reddit is as foul and disgusting as ever.
Some of that “take the fight to them” is similar language that Islamic extremists use to justify terrorist attacks in the west. Or what Timothy McVeigh talked about before bombing the Murrah building.
It would be disgusting and disturbing if they attacked innocent adults. It’s incomprehensible if they attacked children.

Anyone else notice how the media has for years made it a point to always refer to transgenders by their “preferred” gender and castigated anyone not doing by accusing them of “misgendering” trans people.
But now that this guy, who’s “trans” and has identified as female for the last several years has gone and shot up a school, instead of referring to him as “she”, they’re referring to him as male.
Wonder why it’s suddenly ok to misgender again?

I like that he's started using bold text to really drive his points home.
My guess is he's an old retired addle- brained Jimmy Carter liberal who's trying to justify the current retardation of his party because frick republicans and Ronald Reagan.

Ha, so well said. I give this feedback to people all the time: Say more with fewer words. It will be much more impactful and your point won't get lost in endless filler.

One made a decision to kill kids.... the other is an inanimate tool

Nobody is arguing that biological sex and gender mean the exact same thing. We use words like boy, man, guy, dude, fellow, etc. in casual language to describe biological males and words like girl, woman, chick, lady, babe, to describe biological females.
I don't care what the dictionary says. Language is only useful to a specific subset of a culture at any given data point in history. It's a communal agreement that connotation outweighs denotation.

It's right out of the progressive playbook, and we were warned about it in Orwell's 1984. They are attempting to rewrite aspects of our language and words within it to cement their ideology.

I’m guessing Sammy won’t respond to the mainstreaming of violent rhetoric in trans culture like that magazine

I will stand shoulder to shoulder with s/he/they and support anything that prevents trans people and others with mental health issues from getting access to guns. (Even though I think laws like this are already on the books).

Pretty much foolproof way to ensure they can't get guns nor harm themselves or the public in general.

Really? I would say they are objectively better.
And nobody is "lunging after identity politics" over this. Our human nature is to establish patterns in our surroundings. It is as instinctual to us as every other animal on the planet. When patterns emerge, we start to formulate opinions and act accordingly.
It's why the old adage of "you can't judge a book by its cover" is at least partially a bunch of bull. Yes, you can. In fact, what you see with your own eyes says a lot.
Pumping massive amounts of hormones into and performing Frankenstein-like surgeries onto already mentally ill people is one of the most predatory practices I've witnessed in my lifetime. It makes many worse off mentally, and we keep seeing this play out time after time.

Identifying isn’t reality. My daughter thought she was a cat when she was four. Would even hiss at people.

Precisely. Change the language, change the culture.

I can get behind this. They should make sure his death certificate has him as a male and all reports call him male. That might deter trans shooters in the future.

May depend on the outlet. I’m seeing she/her in several different places after reference of the legal name change.
