Yeah it’s another mask thread, deal with it. My kids are not in school yet, but I feel for everyone that is having to deal with this. Why the hell are there no changes to school mask requirements with the announcement that was made today?
These ppl should be ashamed of themselves. These young kids have absolutely zero reason to be wearing these damn things.

For real! I guess their reasoning is that all the kids have to wear them in order to protect Mrs. Winthrop, the 60 year old, obese guidance counselor.

We have a fair amount of kids who are immunocompromised.

In Alabama it was left up to individual school districts. Some kept them, alot didn't.

It’s to make the pussies feel safer and better. Parents have sent their kids to school with the cold and flu long before COVID and will long after COVID. Anyone with a lick of sense knows the mask shite is ridiculous and should have been over a long long time ago.

I absolutely hate it and it's absolutely child abuse. Anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid. These are KIDS. Since last spring we've known that kids are not good spreaders due to their viral load being so low. It's insanity to see these poor children unable to learn social cues based on facial expressions because of this. They can't interact and are being stunted socially. They are going to be the group that suffers the most due to this nonsense. Who knows the long term social and psychological effects this has on their developing minds and personalities. frick everyone who thinks this is ok for any significant period of time. I could see a few months to observe the impact on the spread but this has gone on long enough.
