I married my first girlfriend. This doesn't mean that she was the first girl at all. I just never considered any girl my girlfriend before that. I had a few short "we're" talking things. And some experiences with longer term hook ups, plus the random in between. But I never called them or remotely got to a point that one was considered my girlfriend. When I finally found one I liked being around enough and who could also stand me, it stuck I guess.

Got laid for the first time at 17; engaged at 18; married at 20. Actually while we were engaged I started to have second thoughts, but I felt I was in too deep and went through with it. Not long after that I told my parents that I wasn't happy and wanted a divorce; they told me she was a good girl and "the grass isn't always greener" and to stick it out. We stayed married for five years; divorced when I was 25. There's just one thing that lets me know that I made the right choices: my daughter. If I hadn't stayed with her, my daughter wouldn't be here right now. Things seem to work themselves out on their own.

Statistically speaking your daughter who is a child of divorce and a questionable decision making father, is going to end up running through dick like a tractor through a corn field. So enjoy that.

So in this scenario, you already had sex with a girl before getting married?

I married my high school sweetheart. In January next year we'll be married for ten years. In June next year we'll have been together for 15. I've spent almost half my life with her in it. She's a part of all the big memories of my life.

911moto one-up'd all you losers. He wified up his first ever piece of arse, split up with her after she spit him out a karate kid, and then proceeded to wifey the second piece of snatch he had ever come across.

nothing wrong with marrying your high school sweetheart. I did.

When you find the right woman, you marry her.

That's awesome and nothing wrong with that. There isn't a single road(lined with skanks) that leads to happy a alliance. Strings of questionable dating is for some people and isn't for others......

Could have ended your post letting us know about that well rounded 13 year old y'all have raised together

My best friend and his wife have been together since the 8th grade.

They dated throughout HS, then college, then got married, now have 2 kids and a ballin' house on 20 acres.

They are one of the few marriages that I'm 100% confident will not end in divorce.

I doubt they regret anything.

For people that "settle down" with their first - sex is great every time because they don't know any different.

I'm speaking from experience. My wife thinks I'm a damn sex machine and have a huge penis. That's because I'm all she's ever experienced. I have no regrets.

This, it's been wonderful.....

i think younger people getting married these days look at like a hobby or getting a puppy.

"yeah i'll do this, until something cooler or better comes along"

ETA - guys I know that married the first girl that would let them hit, usually end up being pu$$y-whipped monkey boys the rest of their lives.

You mean unlike the 1970s and '80s when the divorce rate skyrocketed?

Because the rate has actually declined with the current generations..... But people don't like facts, you know since people these days just jump to getting hitched like a hobby and all.

Your odds of making it work long term are low as one side will eventually stray out of thinking about how they didn't get to sow their wild oats. Not to go all Walt on here, but it does suck when you have trouble finding the same chemistry with new chicks that you had with an old flame.
