It's a silly generalization. Some kids inherit more of one parent's genes than the other. You should have a pretty good idea of whether she takes after her mom or not by looking at both of them. If it worries you that much, look at old pictures and see if she looks like her mom did back then.

Marry a strong, healthy, intelligent woman who will be a great mother to your children. Do not attempt to defy thousands of years of evolutionary logic because Maxim suggests skinny girls are hot this month. Marriage is about building a family and when things get tough you can always mentally reset and remember that what you have together is creating a legacy (your children) that will last forever.

The person who gives a shite the least has all of the power. This goes from a clean kitchen to your kids education to basically everything. Find someone who cares about as much as you do on a number of things.
