I have a theory regarding a small detail of the story. The mom said the dad drove away pointing to the child. She likely thought it was a signal to her. But I think he was telling the cop with the vendetta " my kid is in the car" expecting that the guy would at least be human enough to not involve the kid.

The dad drove away from where pointing at the kid? I haven't read about that part of the story.

I haven't really seen it any where. It might be buried. But what exactly is the current status of the father? How serious are his injuries?

Critical condition was the last I heard. This was yesterday evening.

The wife said that after they made the exchange they saw the cop car lights approaching. As he pulled away she saw the dad pointing at the kid. I thought it was odd. Why would he be pointing at the kid while looking back and driving away? What was he trying to tell her? Then I realized, it wasn't intended for her. It was a plea to not do this with his child in the car/

Any theories on what was in the body cam? They do record sound also, right? I wonder what was said and done after the shots were fired and they realized they shot the kid too. Has to be horrible to get that kind of response from Edmonston.

Supposedly one of the cops wouldn't go along with the coverup. I think another cop is going to get indicted for accessory.

That's some seriously flawed logic that won't fix anything. The outrage over cops killing black people is stupid when it singles out black lives for nattering and not ALL lives for mattering. However, here is a chance for you to say that all lives unjustly killed by authorities in this country matter. And your problem is you taking a comment I made regarding a hypothetical and not this situation out of context. I imagine several people, especially Darth, will be picking random quotes from me earlier in this thread and do the same thing.
For the record, now that facts have come out, obviously these guys are scum and this looks terrible. But that's easy to say now that facts are coming out. That wasn't the case when this thread started and those conversations happened.

Police killed a six year old.
Posters here figured the father a POS and didn't give a shite.
Police turn out to be marshalls who may not have had jurisdiction.
They claim to have been serving a warrant, to a person who it turns out has no warrant.s
They allege the person backed into them, but no evidence of that either.
Two days pass, then State Police go to interview the Marshalls, who then clam up and take the fifth.
State police get a video, and decide to charge the Marshalls with murder.
