Temporarily a smart move, but it's not a long term smart move because it gives in to this false propaganda agenda and will create a trend.

Next they're gonna go after other high profile male actors, athletes, public CEO's, etc. and pressure and bully them to donate large portions of their salaries to this nonsense.

Im okay with that, and these people you've listed seem to be on board with it as well. I hope they get really aggressive and extreme, would be absolutely fantastic to see.

Michelle Williams never made any sort of issue about it.

Take it up with Ridley Scott and whoever went digging from the Hollywood Reporter.

His agent definitely represented him better than hers,

You can’t say that. Markie Mark is a big name who can command better contracts.

Also, seems like he’d donate the money to HER if the pay disparity was the issue.

To erase any scenes that were shot with Kevin spacey because he’s a sexual predator.

That doesn’t make him not a good actor.

The 1st 4 seasons of house of cards didn’t stop being good once his pecadillos came to light.

This kind of witch hunt mentality is a lot like the red scare. And frankly it’s ridiculous.

Just because someone was accused of something that happened decades ago doesn’t mean everyone should immediately, and without any real evidence, socially lynch the guy.

And this isn’t really about Kevin spacey. He may be a pervert (although the Proggies certainly fawned over him before the allegations when he was making anti-trump comments.) but that doesn’t make his professional work not good.

I assure you that if you dig, many many people whose artistic works you admire have skeletons in their closets.

Yeah but she hasn't been in a blockbuster... so no one knows her.... I mean for the general public they're not watching Brokeback Mountain, Manchester by the Sea, Blue Valentine, or My Week with Marilyn....

I mean none of those were huge blockbuster movies and Brokeback is more well known for a gay scene than anything else.

I didn't know who she was until I saw a photo, and I still can't think of what I've seen her in.

She is nowhere near his level in terms of popularity.

Good for her, that doesn't mean she's popular. Those awards are not voted by the general public.

In fairness, seasons 3 and 4 never started being good.
