No shite. If he had stayed his whole family might be dead right now.

Oh I agree. I meant if he lied about being attacked at all. Not just lied about the pipe.

Well, the dude was just arrested in Lincoln Parish last month, so that's not looking good for him.

If he is telling the truth he should be acquitted.

That’s an if the size of Canada though.

Yeah, I'm sure he had nothing to do with the fight and just happened to have a gun that he rat-a-tat-tatted someone with while being a totally innocent parade goer.

Remember that guy a few weeks ago that beat that old man to death because he allegedly tried to mug him?

Let see if this guy gets the same treatment

Same people that bring a knife to a gun fight

Good question...although I have seen an occasional tool on the route for tightening ladders. But let's face it, gang bangers have guns and pipe wrenches for bad intentions. If he would've gotten hit with a pipe wrench, his eye would probably look like a disaster right now.

If true he should be acquitted or not even charged with murder. However, he should still do a little time for having a weapon on the parade route.

When you go to a parade with a gun, I think it's safe to assume that you have some other stuff going on that is less than desireable.

That weapon seems like a good choice in hindsight.

If that's exactly what happened, then i'd say it's justified, case closed.
