If he & his friends were doing "illegal drugs" as the article says... Is synthetic weed illegal? If yes, why would you buy illegal synthetic weed instead of real weed if it's illegal either way?

Damn. I feel old

Could've been nerdy kids that were never offered any at school. Maybe schwag is hard to find, and they couldn't afford $50 for an 1/8. Maybe drug testing at at school (it happens at many private schools).

Or the scariest, they like it better than weed, because it really fricks them up.

The current synthetics are terrible. I remember when there were legal back around 2010 all around BR. We smoked the shite out of it until that banned the chemical that was in the original formulas (JWH-018). After that, manufactures started probably using shady ingredients. Those were some good times though. Just like a real weed high, but it wouldn't last as long.

ot sure that would readily fix this situation. weed still wouldn't be legal for teens if was legal.

Yeah, but the thing is, if real weed was legal the synthetic market would plummet to the point where it'd be hard to find. few people would bother making it. There'll always be a few weirdos who want it but that'd be negligible.

Of course. What a waste of time and resources.

There you go. Policies like that tend to push people to use drugs that are more dangerous than marijuana, but are gone from your system within a couple days.

Same thing happens in the workplace. People that want to get high but can't, often use pills or coke because it's out of your system so fast.

Your point is well received. Truthfully, I don't even know what DARE stands for.

However, the Len Bias incident successfully kept me from ever wanting to try cocaine.

I just never understood the appeal of a drug that makes it easy to get pussy, but makes it damn near impossible to cum.

I went to high school with him last year. He was a senior, really unfortunate knowing that he was a smart kid with a bright future. The school might have been drug testing him, a lot of the kids who used to get tested smoked spice.

Or they could just make actual weed legally available.

What kind of teenager can't find a bag of weed? I don't think legal weed would impact synthetic weed use as much as we like to imagine.

I could be dropped into any town in America and find a bag in under an hour.

I am not opposing legalizing weed, just pointing out that people smoking spice are looking for that type of buzz. Most likely they are also dabbling in meth.
