Mandeville is filled with people a half generation removed from garden variety Louisiana white trash, kids who snort their frickin' adderall and milfs who got the house in the divorce.

In other words, it's every white flight suburb in the southeast. The Mobile version is fairhope and daphne.

Be nice to the Mandeville housewives, then when their husbands are working in the city, they will be VERY nice to you.

There are many dirty little secrets the good people of Covington and Mandeville don't like talking about....the hours of 9:00 am to 3:30 pm M-F while school is in session is one of them

Yeah, trashy fricks. The fifth generation New Orleaneans snort coke, not that ADHD shite.

I talked to this older woman a few years ago who must have thought I knew nothing about the Northshore or any suburban area outside of major cities try and tell me Mandeville is the wealthiest place in the USA with the best schools in the country. She went on to say it’s basically the really wealthy area on the New Orleans metropolitan area and like living in New Orleans but more luxurious.
As if she never heard of famous suburban towns surrounding DC, NYC, LA, Chicago and didn’t think I did either.

I grew up in LP, went to private school my entire life in BR. I moved to Mandeville a few years ago and I love it. Great place to raise our kids, and they are in excellent public schools. Most people here are very nice, with a few irritating NOLA types. The main thing I noticed upon settling here is that people are active. They take care of themselves and their bodies. It seems to be contagious, and it makes you want to do the same.

Now when I visit folks around my old LP stomping grounds, they make me disgusted. Most people are fat and dirty, and I want better than that for myself and my kids.

It's just easier for the fatties to say that people are snobby and play the victim than to make changes in their own lives.

Mandeville kids are thieves and delinquents, washed with a very thin veneer of respectability.

Your Mom is a harlot and a deviant, washed regularly with a very thin veneer of effluent.
