I love visiting that area. It feels like you stepped into another state. Everything is clean, the stores are not run down and service is generally good.

I couldn't live there because of the uppity nature of the majority of people.

Lights out for those 897 poor white people is 8 PM. Any of them caught out of the rack will be stopped and have their vehicles searched for anything that can be confiscated/seized as part of the MCAFP.

“The poverty rate in Beverly Hills is 9.3%. One out of every 10.8 residents of Beverly Hills lives in poverty.”

“The poverty rate in Mandeville is 5% which is 66% lower than than the national average.”

And you probably spend your afternoons at the country club eating horrible buffet food with a sense of superiority to the people at cracker Barrell eating equally shitty food at ten times less the price.

Now this is how you troll.

People there are extremely nice. It’s noticeable while shopping and driving around Mandeville people are far more polite than elsewhere. I don’t get why some say it’s uppity. I don’t know any snobby people from there.

Maybe I’ve been snubbed by them.

I've been living in Mandeville for a year. I have not experienced the issues of which you speak, my friend.

I live in Old Mandeville, though, not one of the fancier or newer communities.

It's nothing like California, by the way. I lived in Cali for 2 years. I can never go back!

Do you belong to PAC or SNAP? Want to work out and talk about it? Being serious...if you need/want to talk. No need in being miserable and only letting it out on the interwebz. Let me know!

Mandeville is full of posers. The place is nice but it has no flavor it’s all just cookie cutter strip malls.

People that aren’t familiar with the Northshore, and Mandeville in particular, have what Larry David refers to as shy/a-hole confusion.

Most of Louisiana is rude AF, and fat. To go anywhere and see people generally pleased with their community is science fiction.

For example, this thread.

it’s been my experience that most Asians in S la. are just good at hiding their income.
