Welcome to what being a responsible and respectable contributor to society looks like. It’s not like Mandeville (or most of the NS, besides Slidell) has a higher caliber of population or they just got super lucky by moving across the lake... it absolutely stems from being removed from the trash, violence, and ignorance on the SS.

Ehhhhh it is that the white people got run out of N.O. East and many areas of the Best Bank. Also all of the St.Bernard folks who decided twice in 40 years was too much
The South Shore problems however did hitch a ride to the Northshore .....
First in Slidell, but it has been creeping into WST....
Mandeville/Covington has lots of dirty secrets and underhanded deals.....the previous Sherrif is under indictment and the former DA is in Club Fed

Hate to tell you, dude, that describes your significant other. I suspect divorces will be going up since the Clarion Hotel closed on 190 so don't be surprised to see your wife or husband being serviced when you come home early
