I’d say a segment of our society doesn’t value human life

I’m sure videos like this don’t help. This girl has been around these cats since almost birth. She mostly does lions and leopards. Theees another one who handles tigers like this. She will crawl into their sleeping quarters and wake them up. Crazy.

Yes, it absolutely is. He’s a human being and it’s a frickin animal. Under no circumstance should the life of an animal be put ahead of a human being.

Man did wrong. Animal did no wrong. Actions have consequences.

There's no way you and weagle are serious right now.

Id shoot the last tiger or gorilla on earth if it was to save someone's life who wasnt an absolutely horrible person.

Especially the harambe thing. It was a child. I dont believe in needlessly killing anything but defense of a human life is far from needless.

I remember that story. Apparently the group was drunk and smoking pot and provoking the tiger. Made you feel bad for the tiger. He or she just sits around all day locked up, not being able to be a real tiger, and bunch of drunk idiots start harassing you.

A grown arse man decides to climb in a wild animals enclosure. He deserves no saving by killing the animal. That is ridiculous. Not sure why zoos don’t have better tranquilizer procedures

The animal doesn’t have an intellect or will to do right or wrong. Animals act on instinct.

Correct. The human Intellectually chose death.

While that might be true, we as human beings have a moral obligation to do everything in our power to save that human from himself, even if it means killing the tiger.

Tranq darts aren't immediately effective. It takes time for the drug to work through the bloodstream and put the animal down.

In the meantime you risk agitating the animal even more than it already is by shooting it with the dart.

I think they are waiting for the tiger to have a bowel movement to confirm.

I would go for the finger up the butt maneuver and hope it is a multi-species deterrent.

Yes, he died. Probably some injuries to neck and/or spinal cord while be tossed around seemingly like a ragdoll. I saw a still on X where his torso looked fairly contorted in comparison to his lower body/legs.

I place no value on the 300lb EBT queen who is riding around Kroger on a scooter because she is too lazy and fat to walk. As one example.

There are many millions and millions of children in the world, and I would not have shot Harambe for any of them. By any objective measure no one’s child is as unique or important as the member of an endangered species just based on numbers alone.

wow this might actually be the most despicable thing ever posted on this board, buried here on page whatever of a random thread.

you are a real sack of shite for this take.

I’m sure you feel actual sadness when a child you have never met has a bad accident in China.

Or have researched and stopped buying certain brands because they use child labor in overseas sweatshops.

Spare me.

Your type of emotionally driven thinking has enabled the deadweight in our society to flourish in a largely consequence free environment.
