The problem in my estimation is that we are so decentralized from our local communities vs how it used to be back in the day re: church and other community organizations. There is no common path for the current of public sentiment to travel to the levers of power. Add to this the fact that those levers of power have been corrupted and/or just don’t care anymore…and here we are.

On Twitter, I follow a number of major media, CNN, Foxnews, AP, Reuters, etc. And I know that Twitter will use algorithms to shuffle around tweets and not necessarily keep them in chronological order.
Only can find 1 , from foxnews, a tweet about it.
Went directly to CNN and it was one tweet from 3 AM about it.
That's it.

Why would the media cover this?
Our President just gave a primetime speech where he let everyone know who the enemy is. This shooter is an ally of the current Administration. The facts about violence in America do not fit the lie that is being fed to us on a daily basis. This event fits right along with what is actually "normal" in terms of demographics and crime.
It should come as no surprise this major story will be ignored. You are being gaslighted in every way imaginable.

I wouldn't be surprised if some family members of the victims go hunt down this trash's family and take retribution. Not saying it would be right, but emotions run some people to extremes. If he learns from jail that his loved ones have suffered the same fate as his victims, his attitude will change.
