I get this sentiment and can appreciate the humor in watching people who vote against their self-interests finally realize it. However, I also have a 6 year old daughter who likes sports and wants to play and I'll be pissed if she ends up competing with/losing out to some dude playing girl's sports. We/she certainly didn't ask for/vote for this. Do you have a daughter?

If you're talking pre-puberty, sure. Girls "grow up" sooner than boys and can hang in middle school a lot of times.
In high school the only way I could see it happening is if your school sucks at sports and completely unathletic guys make teams.
I guess we could clarify and say "the worst contributing member of an even slightly competitive boys team will be better than the best girl 10/10 times".
