They completely dickered the spicy chicken sandwich. I've thought about doing it a time or two myself, if we're being honest.

Man, watching the body cam footage, it’s really incredible the cops didn’t just assist in getting him home instead of arresting him. Pretty crazy they let it escalate to the point of killing him.

I die a little inside when I pull up to a Wendy's and the worker tells me there's no spicy nuggets.

I can see the headline now: White police officers shoot and kill unarmed black man in line at Wendy’s

Comments: “we can’t even go to get a hamburger anymore without getting killed.”

“Another example of white privilege. Not allowed to use drive thru.”

Why do they always have to kill the guy? Why couldn’t they shoot the taser out of his hand?

Because everyone wants to Monday Morning Quarterback the cops these days despite the fact that they've never faced anything even close to that.

Common statements are:

"Why can't they shoot them in the legs?"

"Why'd they have to shoot him 10 times?"

"Aren't cops trained to physically restrain people?"

"Dont police know martial arts?"

Too many idiots with a voice these days.

Wrong. This mindset is part of the problem with the country today. Dude was passed out drunk to the point he resisted arrest (two crimes committed). If he had woken up,driven off and killed a family should he have been released as well? We have laws for a reason. People need to respect the order of law and the police department. I’ve been pulled over at least six times for speeding. I never once thought about resisting arrest and I live to post another day.

What if drunk dude had just complied with police? He’s be out on bond with a DUI and “the community” could still get their Frosty but instead they used his death to burn Wendy down, loot Texaco and break into a liquor store all because a guy chose to steal a taser from a cop (drunk, resisting arrest and theft). Go ahead and order his $250k coffin.

Dude chose to escalate. Not the cops.

I posted this earlier that in today's society, a black man could literally point a gun at a cop and start shooting at some innocent bystanders, yet if he's gunned down by the cops, he'll be exonerated and given a beautiful funeral and all the BLM will start another protest and rioting.

I literally can’t wrap my head around the fact black people support murderers and criminals etc simply for sharing the same skin color. It makes no sense

Honestly, with Atlanta still dealing with protesting, etc., and with the mayor saying that her plans to "reallocate" funds was in line with people's calls to defund the police, the police should have told the 911 callers to wake the guy and deal with him themselves or to call the mayor to see how she wanted to handle it (good practice for when she defunds the police).

I mean, I'm surprised they even had cops to send out there for something so small when people are still protesting and all of this stuff. All of this for some dude who fell asleep in the drivethru at Wendy's. But he was bold enough to fight the cops when he was wrong, grab their taser and try to tase one of them, so he invited something bad to happen to himself whether some see it as excessive or not.
