I don't care if I'm considered a pussy for this or not, I got emotional listening to that poor lady bawling.

They were both in shock.

Sweet under armour flip flops. He's gonna really wish he was wearing shoes walking through all that.

No doubt, clearly she is in shock. I would think a woman bawling crying after that is a totally normal response.

That was crazy to watch though...all that damage in a matter of seconds.

Any time we have to get in the safe place we get fully dressed, put shoes on our feet, put on a helmet, and I get my wallet, phone, checkbook, and keys. You need to basically assume you may have to walk away with nothing but what is on your back.

From an Illinois Tornado a few years ago. Pretty crazy....they are lucky to have gone without injuries.

Had to have that adrenaline pumping like crazy.

Kid safe - check
Dog safe - check
IMMEDIATE concern for neighbors - check
No comment about "at least the TV is ok"

Hope he gave his daughter a hug as soon as they got clear. She sounded like she needed one.

ETA:

Was that his wife having a breakdown? I thought it may have been his kid...

If "from the other day" you mean 2013, yes.

This is the Washington, Illinois tornado from November, 2013.

Clickbait FB page just capitalizing on the recent storm system to get new clicks out of someone else's two year old video.

Yep. I totally get the screaming as the tornado rips the house apart and I don't mind the tears after one bit. It was still a life threatening situation, though, and she was a useless pile of goo. Get the frick out of your house that is about to fall down and go check on your neighbors who may be dying as you panic.

Still incredible to watch.

A more recent one from the April 2015 storm in Baton Rouge was posted in Wednesday's weather thread. It was filmed on board a tug in the Baton Rouge harbor.....I'm still mesmerized by it:

This one from a 2008 tornado in Iowa is pretty crazy. Filmed by a security camera.

Yeah the youtube link says it's him and his daughter.

So for all we know...Josie could be just a teenager. In which case....even more appropriate that she is reacting the way she did.

First thing I noticed was the tv still intact as well

Although posted on 2/23, that video is old as hell. I've seen it several times two years ago about. Intense though
