No idea how this went down, most people are not quick draw specialists, and would have a difficult time with someone just shooting at them.
A 20 year old black male approaching your vehicle living in new orleans is all you need to know.
Or just stay ignorant.

This right here is the only thing that will work. And you will have to accept that there will be good guy casualties. If they get it in their low IQ minds that committing crimes will involve taking fire themselves then it might get under control.

Looks like a hate crime to me @JasonWilliams.

Hopefully, he finishes crawling into the grave. The docs would do well to help the citizens out.

Raymond Wells, 21, is in "extremely grave condition" at University Medical Center, according to deputy superintendent Nicholas Gernon. Wells is being watched by an armed guard. Should he recover from his injury, he will be booked into jail on a count of first-degree murder.
Oh man I hope he pulls through

Yep.
The government will never keep you safe. Only we can keep ourselves safe and we need to do more to these perps before the cops get there and write reports.

The judge should be charged as well.

The public should demand to know more about these cases.
Judge, DA, all the available public records from the trials should be on display.

Carjackers that are shot and killed have a zero percent recidivism rate.

This may be how you imagine New Orleans residents live, but it's not.
My son moved from uptown New Orleans a couple of months ago. His car had been broken into a few times over the last couple of years. The same for his neighbors. That’s always fun and makes you feel safe. He moved to a nice quiet suburb not near New Orleans and has no more problems thus far. I sleep better at night not worrying about him.

The culture changing equals career criminals being flown to Guantanamo Bay, never to be seen again. I say turn them into fish food though. It’s the only solution to the problem.

Things like this are why I am seriously considering not moving back to New Orleans after retiring. We have a serious culture problem of crime & a judicial system that is now hell bent on a “restorative justice” movement that lets criminals walk free in the streets as a sort of payback. Bring in the National Guard. Screw these judges & this culture.

Agree. I hope the garbage dies in the hospital. It ensures he’s never on the street again.

Not more needs to be said, other than hang them all. Judges and the criminals they protect.

Shithole place, move the Saints and Pels out and let it rot.

Aww look the little bitch boy.

It is utterly insane how often the perp in a crime was out on the street with multiple violent offenses pending and/or prior ones not prosecuted.
