Already had a girl so I was more of a the Keg / Loose Caboose guy.
Met my wife at the loose caboose. She was with the girl I thought I was gonna marry. That was in the early 90s.

Been married 34 years now. I think it'll stick.

Saw a dude get murdered there. Mardi Gras 95, maybe 96. Some guy had gotten tossed by a bouncer, went to his car, came back and shot him. I didn't see the actual shot but I was walking right in front on McKinley, heard the shot, and saw a big wave of people rushing toward me, trying to get away.

Last time I went to the Strip, it was wall to wall blacks and not that many people actually in the bars.

Makos... The place in Lafayette.. I was thinking of a place in Florida. Yeah, I went there several times. I saw an all out brawl outside one time...

Makos was closed I think when I went to school.

I was a regular on the Strip from 2007 to 2010. Starting going to the Bulldog and JSP in my junior year of high school. Starting going to the Keg later on. I still went at least once or twice a month even when I moved to BR and went to LSU since they didn't serve minors

Funny thing is, Randall Kiper is the new president of the Baker Rotary Club. He’s still around.

In the 90's it was like one big block party. Would start at Shanahan's(penny pitchers on Thursdays), would then head to Nightcaps. I worked at Nightcaps for about 3 months. The midnight Pita truck = GOAT.

What was the bar everyone went to on Sunday nights? I think it was out in Scott.

Remember the anti-drug PSAs with that song but everyone at the party is passed out? Honestly that may be why I never did it. Looking boring.
