A $20 coffee machine can't make a $5 coffee. But a $100 one can.
I have an expresso every morning.
I use a Nespresso haven't bought code since. I make my own pods too from fresh ground coffee.

Man, you are going to make some baws head explode posting stuff like that on here.

frick'em. It ain't my fault they have low brain power and using a simple device like that would overload them.

But seriously that makes the best cup of coffee ever. Those K-cup makers fricking suck big time and the worse of all. The drip coffee makers are good but it can be even better. French press is ok too but still can't compare.

The only downfall to the aeropress is that it is hard to drink coffee made from inferior ways after you've experience the true potential of coffee.

$20 Mr. Coffee machine and community dark roast. Anything else is ridiculous

I do have about 100 dollar Bunn. Having the water hot already is a nice feature, and having the coffee ready in two minutes is also nice. And community dark roast or french roast.

I make my own. Either make it at home and bring it in a travel mug to work, or make a pot when I get to work.

A big arse $13 bag of Community Coffee ($9 today at Costco, BTW).

Will last a couple of weeks.

I want to retire.

Some mofo is buying it at Starbucks as their profits is thru the roof.

I drink the free Cafe Special at work. Cheap crap but it'll do.

I'm with you, but we are old school.

Typically I have a Keurig and finish it in the car.

If I wake up early enough, I'll french press the good stuff. Then free coffee at work.

Probably half the 1,000 people in my building stop by either Starbucks or the cafeteria for $3-4 cups. Then they pay for their lunch (another $10). Every single day. That shite adds up.

I just get the $2 cups from Starbucks or Dunkin here and there because the office coffee is lower quality. And yeah sometimes I splurge $5 on a venti iced latte. Goes well with a Rocky Patel Java Mint cigar.

Every morning, I grind 3 tablespoons of beans and brew it in a pour over by pouring hot water over the grounds through a filter. I spend $23 a month on a subscription for beans from Blue Bottle in Oakland.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but once you have pourover or French press from a single origin bean, it’s hard to go back

You are comparing drip coffee makers to espresso coffee. Not equal. A French press is cheap but not convenient. We have a Breville espresso maker that grinds the beans and steams the milk, but the process takes about 5 minutes and the unit was around $500. The wife and I really like espresso so the unit has more than paid for itself. Overall, I agree that its ridiculous that people don't identify homemade coffee as one of the easiest ways to save money.

We only buy coffee when we are away from home on vacation or traveling now.

I understand your argument. That’s why we keep it simple with Community and a Mr. Coffee. If you never go, you never have to go back.
