I fully reserve the right to be wrong here, but that tweet doesn’t make sense to me because HWY 98 is north of tylertown

Anyone looking for a good, free radar with all the bells and whistles try an app called WeatherWise.

That is a EF4 at minimum

Really hard to get correct EF ratings in Mississippi as it's so rural, has tons of trailers, and the other buildings often aren't well built.

That massive tornado from Easter 2020 that tracked from Bassfield to Soso and onward could've been an EF5 but there weren't enough indicators.

Warning just south of Tupelo will be allowed to expire at 1:15 due to diminished threat

Always great news

The tornado near Bassfield has weakened momentarily. It is likely cycling.

How’s the NorthShore (Covington) looking? Or is it too early to tell what will come.

I've been using MyRadar which is good if you want to keep up with warnings (they seem to update as quickly as they're put out) and have a basic radar that's not smoothed to death, but I've been missing out on the deeper scans. Thank you

Waiting on the weather slightly west still. Appears slower moving don’t love that

They’ve been talking about that one but there is essentially nothing on radar. Idk.

Temp has dropped from 70 to 60 in Tupelo. Will this reduce the intensity of storms too come?

The one I’m worried about is now moving NE and headed for AP and LP. Looks to be getting stronger.

Yeah, I was hoping that cycle would save them.

It has had one up and down at times. Producing quick spin ups in that mess of broader rotation.
