I agree. It doesn’t look impressive but they said there’s pictures of one.

A lot of convection in south Ms. This won’t be a bust, but it’s not looking like an April 27 scenario either. Hopefully all that convection chokes off some energy

Worst thing about the April 27 outbreak was all the cells were spaced way out and had nothing but energy to feed them. So every cell maxed out. The convection being more messy today should help keep some of the cells in check

That little hook just NE of Smithville has formed over the past couple scans. That is the greatest threat that storm has had for a bit.

The one I’m worried about is now moving NE and headed for AP and LP. Looks to be getting stronger.

Is your radar an hour behind?

1:26pm feels a little early to say anything with another 10-12 hours left.

But yeah, April 27 was the worst outbreak in modern history, so coming in below that is probably a safe bet.

I was just looking at that. Pretty much taking the exact same path as the long track tornado ahead of it, geeeeez...

The one going through Hammon will be a problem. It’s all by itself for now.

I’m just trying to be positive

Just looks like maybe the conditions are so good it’s causing a lot of convection. Hopefully that will eat up some energy and turn messy

Stay safe everyone. A lot of pastors in my county had a prayer chain yesterday...there is a ton of concern. I am praying for each and everyone of us.
