Golden Meadow is a subdivision in Bossier City.

That can't be the Golden Meadow, La. by Grand Isle.

That makes more sense now
I thought it was the city, but it didn't look like the city and it is still raining there
Thanks for clarifying

Alright so I'm a little confused at the forecast for rain tomorrow/saturday. Just by looking at the radar it looks like the giant line of t-storms will be done in Laffy shortly, in BR by nightfall, Nola overnight. So is this system going to wrap around and hit us again tomorrow/sat? Where is the rest of this system coming from?

It's not a cold front, so don't think about it that way.
There's a big arse upper low over Mexico. Little pieces of energy travel around the low and get pushed north on the east side of it. SELA is in position to catch all that energy (rain). So it'll fire back over the same area into the low over Mexico moves out.

The actual driving force for all this is a -10 standard deviation low sitting down over Mexico. There is a high pressure off to the east and the two are working together to point a fire hose of moisture towards Louisiana. Waves of energy in the jet stream are circling the baae of the low and kicking out over Texas and Louisiana. Each wave sets off a round of storms. What happens to those storms depends on a lot of small things that can't be forecasted well.
So even as this current batch of storms moves through the ingredients are coming together for another one later on and so on. This will repeat until the low finally lifts out towards the Plains.
